Junior Business Development Manager

About the role

Antaes Asia is seeking a motivated Junior Business Development Manager to support its growth across Asia. The role blends client acquisition with recruitment, giving you a 360° view of how a consulting business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and acquire new clients across key industries.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of business opportunities.
• Conduct outreach through calls, meetings and networking to generate leads.
• Understand client challenges and propose tailored consulting solutions.
• Participate in contract negotiations and close deals.
• Drive end‑to‑end recruitment activities to support business growth.
• Source, screen and assess qualified consultants.
• Match candidates to client opportunities and manage placements.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure successful delivery.
• Anticipate future hiring needs and proactively source talent.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• First experience in business development, sales, consulting or recruitment (client‑facing a plus).
• Strong interest in both client acquisition and recruitment.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multicultural, international environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, resilient and results‑oriented mindset.
