Junior Cloud Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to support the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of cloud‑based infrastructure. This role offers hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, automation scripting, and scalable system design.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud across development and production environments.
• Automate cloud operations by developing infrastructure automation scripts and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Participate in the specification, setup, and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical demonstrations.
• Administer and maintain servers and services across virtualized and cloud platforms.
• Monitor system performance and availability, and support incident troubleshooting and resolution.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in cloud, system engineering, or related roles.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in cloud and platform engineering.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English to support coordination with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Linux systems.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Shell).
