Junior Full-Stack Developer

About the role

We are a maritime technology company building reliable networking and communications solutions. This entry‑level position is open to fresh graduates and offers structured mentorship across the full technology stack, from embedded systems to cloud‑hosted portals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features in a React + TypeScript frontend and Python (Flask) backend across multiple dashboards.
• Author and maintain Ansible roles for end‑to‑end system provisioning.
• Create new API endpoints, shell scripts, and systemd service units supporting product features.
• Write unit tests with pytest and verify functionality before deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues reported from production systems.
• Contribute to virtualization initiatives and cloud‑management portal on AWS EC2.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• No prior professional experience required; academic projects or personal repositories are considered.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin.

Required skills

• React, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django) – Node.js or Go acceptable if willing to adopt Python
• Linux command line, Bash scripting, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
• Git version control
• Ansible configuration management
• AWS EC2, nginx reverse‑proxy
• Networking basics: IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, firewall (nftables)
• Docker, Prometheus, Grafana (preferred)
• Virtualisation platforms: Proxmox, KVM, VirtualBox (preferred)
