Junior HR Business Partner

About the role

Q&M is looking for a Junior HR Business Partner to join its People Team. Reporting to the HR Director, you will act as a trusted people advisor, partnering with managers to deliver innovative HR solutions that support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, nurses and other employees, providing proactive HR support.
• Collaborate with business leaders on onboarding, employee relations, performance management and engagement initiatives.
• Assist senior HR members with the annual compensation review, including data collection and analysis.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes, and use mediation techniques to resolve issues early.
• Support recruitment activities: benchmark job descriptions, attend interviews, and facilitate onboarding and exit conversations.
• Use HR metrics to identify trends, highlight concerns and influence people‑focused decisions.
• Contribute to HR projects and talent‑development programmes across the organisation.

Required profile

• Recent experience or academic background in HR, preferably within a healthcare or professional services environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and coach managers.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model with at least one day on‑site per week.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HR best practices, policies and employment legislation.
• Familiarity with HR information systems and data analysis for reporting.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding and employee relations processes.
