Junior Product Designer – Trading & Payments

About the role

Axi is seeking a curious and hands‑on Junior Product Designer to help shape intuitive trading and payments experiences for customers worldwide. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers, leveraging AI‑powered design tools to turn user problems into elegant digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design user‑centric web and mobile experiences for onboarding, deposits, withdrawals, trading, and account management.
• Rapidly prototype concepts using AI‑driven tools such as Claude and modern design software.
• Participate in the full product design cycle—from discovery and wireframing to high‑fidelity mockups, testing, and hand‑off.
• Contribute to and maintain Axi’s Design System, applying reusable components and design tokens.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are feasible, accessible, and meet regulatory standards.
• Engage in design critiques, usability discussions, and workshops to continuously improve product quality.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about solving real user problems in a regulated financial environment.
• Strong curiosity for emerging design trends and AI technologies.
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma for UI/UX design.
• Experience using AI‑enhanced design tools (e.g., Claude) for rapid prototyping.
