Junior System Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

The Company is seeking a motivated Junior System Engineer – Infrastructure to join its IT infrastructure team. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting both on‑premises and cloud environments, working with Windows Server, virtualization, Microsoft Azure, networking, backup and security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows Server environments on‑premises and in Azure.
• Assist with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS (NPS) and Certificate Authority services.
• Help manage Azure services such as Azure AD, VMs, Backup, Networking, Monitor and Site Recovery.
• Administer virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Support SAN storage, backup, recovery and infrastructure monitoring.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot server, network and virtualization issues.
• Implement IT security policies, MFA, patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Assist senior engineers with migrations, upgrades and deployments.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Document procedures and automate tasks with PowerShell where applicable.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in IT infrastructure or technical support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop expertise across infrastructure technologies.
