Key Account Manager – Business Development (1‑year contract)

About the role

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are looking for a motivated Key Account Manager to drive growth in a specific product category. You will work closely with top sellers to improve their performance on Shopee’s platform and help the company maintain its position as the leading e‑commerce marketplace in Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts within an assigned category (e.g., Electronics, Fashion, FMCG, Lifestyle & Social).
• Analyze account performance and operational metrics to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with accounts to design and execute campaign and sales strategies that meet category and account goals.
• Coordinate with internal marketing, revenue, and operations teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
• Engage accounts in Shopee campaigns and drive achievement of campaign targets.
• Partner with category managers to define, implement, and monitor growth strategies.
• Lead internal projects aimed at process improvement and new initiative rollout.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Relevant experience in account or category management, preferably within e‑commerce.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑facing mindset.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data.
• Goal‑oriented, collaborative and comfortable taking on challenges.
