Key Account Manager

About the role

Huawei is seeking a Key Account Manager to develop and manage strategic relationships within a specific industry sector in Singapore. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, driving sales of ICT solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective account management and solution delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow business for the assigned industry in the local market.
• Prospect, identify, qualify and target accounts that fit the industry profile.
• Conduct regular business reviews using internal analytics and market intelligence to uncover growth opportunities.
• Meet sales and activity performance goals and provide weekly pipeline reports.
• Prepare monthly summaries of wins, losses, inhibitors and new opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with internal practices to align local activities with regional and global strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales or account management experience in the ICT industry.
• Proven ability to analyze sales performance metrics and negotiate at senior client levels.
• Strong understanding of IT strategy and the decision‑making processes of CIOs.
• Track record of achieving significant revenue growth within major client accounts.
• Experience in strategic account planning and execution.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
