Key Account Manager – ShopBack Pay

About the role

ShopBack Group, the leading shopping, rewards and payments platform in APAC, is expanding its payment solution, ShopBack Pay, into new markets. We are seeking a data‑driven, relationship‑focused Key Account Manager to drive merchant adoption, optimise campaign performance and grow revenue through consultative selling.

Key responsibilities

• Promote ShopBack Pay’s value proposition to merchants and encourage adoption of best‑practice features.
• Coordinate with internal marketing, business development and operations teams to meet merchant expectations and maximise performance.
• Gather feedback and market trends from merchant interactions to refine internal best practices.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, ensuring high campaign participation and commercial outcomes.
• Analyse raw data to generate actionable insights that strategically grow merchant revenue.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of retention activities and consistently achieve merchant success milestones.
• Build and nurture long‑term merchant relationships through proactive, customer‑centric engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of key account management experience, preferably in fashion, home & lifestyle, or electronics retail.
• Proven track record of commercial expansion through upselling platform features and value‑added services.
• Creative problem‑solver with the ability to conceptualise innovative merchant acquisition and management ideas.
• Analytical mindset capable of identifying trends, extracting insights and translating data into business actions.
• Strong e‑commerce acumen and awareness of consumer trends.
• Experience in solution selling and developing long‑term client relationships.
• Comfortable engaging with C‑suite executives and negotiating at senior levels.
