Key Account Representative

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Representative to manage and grow our relationships with major supermarket chains. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, driving promotional activities, and ensuring optimal product placement across modern trade outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets for assigned supermarket accounts.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimise sales, distribution and merchandising opportunities.
• Monitor service levels and minimise loss of sales opportunities.
• Develop and execute promotion strategies and new product launch plans with retailers.
• Negotiate display space, rental and visual merchandising arrangements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and outlet personnel.
• Analyse category and brand performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide market intelligence.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in Key Account Management or sales within an FMCG / supermarket environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a management role (e.g., CMM, NTUC, DFI).
• Proven track record in modern trade sales.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to gather market research.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
