Key Account Representative

About the role

The Key Account Representative will manage and grow relationships with major supermarket chains, driving sales and ensuring optimal product placement. Working closely with operations, marketing and retail partners, the role focuses on achieving monthly targets and expanding the brand’s presence in modern trade channels.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets for assigned key accounts.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to optimise distribution, merchandising and sales opportunities.
• Monitor service levels, minimise lost sales and manage promotion strategies.
• Plan and execute new product listings and launch activities with supermarket partners.
• Negotiate display space, rental and visual merchandising during promotional periods.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, outlet personnel and other stakeholders.
• Analyse category, brand sales and promotional performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and present quarterly or bi‑annual business reviews.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in Key Account Management or sales within an FMCG environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management role (e.g., CMM, NTUC, DFI).
• Proven track record in modern trade and supermarket sales.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to develop promotion strategies.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
