Kitchen Supervisor – Food Preparation & Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Kitchen Supervisor to lead our food preparation team across Singapore. You will ensure high‑quality meals, maintain strict hygiene standards, and support menu innovation in a fast‑paced seafood environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including slicing, chopping, mincing, and seasoning.
• Cook hot meals by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling, and assemble cold dishes.
• Maintain HACCP logs, temperature records, and proper food labeling, rotation, and storage.
• Contribute to daily, holiday and themed menus in collaboration with senior staff.
• Keep kitchen equipment, work areas and storage clean, following daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Handle customer feedback, resolve simple complaints and forward complex issues to management.
• Develop new menu items, improve existing recipes, and manage kitchen expenses, food cost, inventory and staffing within budget.
• Supervise a team, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and support shift work as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or food‑service environment.
• Ability to cook North Indian cuisine and adapt recipes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, broiling).
• Menu development and recipe improvisation.
