Lab Technician (1 Year Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

ResMed is hiring a Laboratory Technician for a 1-year fixed-term contract (FTC) at its Galaxis office in Singapore. The role is onsite, five days per week, and covers equipment management, laboratory operations and contractor administration. The company states it responds to every applicant.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate calibration and maintenance of equipment with minimal lab disruption
• Maintain accurate records so all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards, and keep the lab organized and well stocked
• Support lab amenity upkeep and test bench readiness, and prepare for audit activities
• Manage procurement of lab supplies and updates to the chemical database
• Track and manage short-term contractor schedules and onboarding, and liaise with hiring agencies for contractor recruitment
• Keep training records and timesheets accurate and up to date
• Assist Technical Officers and Engineers in routine testing, prepare jigs and samples and document results
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Experience in laboratory operations or technical support roles
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving

Required skills

• Familiarity with regulatory and quality systems such as ISO and GMP
