Lab Technician

About the role

Air Liquide Singapore is seeking a Lab Technician to analyse gas and liquid samples for its manufacturing customers. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety requirements and ISO quality standards while supporting analytical services and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse gas and liquid samples independently according to written procedures and meet customer specifications.
• Perform calibrations and work safely in accordance with safety requirements, reporting any near‑miss incidents.
• Support off‑site or ad‑hoc analytical services as required.
• Participate in safety, quality, 5S and other committees as instructed by the supervisor.
• Maintain traceability through scanning systems or standard documentation.
• Handle product non‑compliance reporting, verification of incoming and outgoing certifications, and uphold the ISO‑based quality management system.
• Contribute to efficiency and process continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITE certification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience operating and maintaining analytical instrumentation.
• Strong foundational knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external customers.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities to resolve technical or process issues.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
