Laboratory Technician – 5-Day Shift (1 PM–10 PM)

About the role

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its Singapore manufacturing team. The role supports the production of DNA‑based reagents and kits, working on a 5‑day schedule from 1 PM to 10 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Perform production tasks that convert raw materials into finished products, including operating laboratory equipment and preparing shipments.
• Follow all work instructions, SOPs, safety standards and ISO‑related requirements, including cleaning and decontamination protocols.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of production activities, product details, equipment usage and training.
• Manage inventory transactions and use computer systems to support efficient, controlled operations.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing practices and ability to work in a laboratory environment.
• Strong computer proficiency with Excel, Word and internet applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with demonstrated teamwork, professionalism and punctuality.
• Ability to adapt to changing processes, work under pressure, make independent decisions and follow defined protocols.
