Lead Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Network Engineer to drive the delivery of high‑quality managed network services for our customers. You will oversee operational management of client network environments, ensuring SLA compliance, availability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in proactive monitoring, incident response, configuration management and continuous service improvement.
• Manage all network and firewall configuration changes following ITIL change‑management processes.
• Plan, coordinate and execute software and firmware upgrades for routers, switches, firewalls and security appliances.
• Act as escalation point for network‑related security incidents and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate inventory of network assets and oversee IP Address Management across multiple sites.
• Provide L3 technical leadership for complex network incidents and drive long‑term remediation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading network operations in a managed‑services environment.
• Strong understanding of SLA adherence, change governance and security compliance.
• Excellent coordination skills with vendors, service delivery managers and customer stakeholders.

• Routers, switches and firewalls (including security appliances).
• IP Address Management (IPAM).
• ITIL change‑management processes.
• Software/firmware upgrade planning and execution.
• Network monitoring and incident response.
