Lead Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

About the role

NCS is looking for an experienced Lead Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in Singapore. The role oversees complex, high-impact projects through strategic planning, decisive execution and strong team leadership, managing multiple stakeholders and resources while delivering projects on time and within budget. It also offers the chance to shape project management practices and mentor emerging talent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and closure of large-scale projects from initiation through delivery, aligned with organizational objectives
• Develop project plans, timelines and budgets, and identify and mitigate risks proactively
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations, giving regular status updates and strategic recommendations
• Direct cross-functional teams, delegate responsibilities and foster accountability
• Monitor performance against KPIs and take corrective action to keep schedule and budget on track
• Mentor junior project managers and team members
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices in project management methods and tools
• Manage scope, changes and conflicts to protect project integrity
• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards and recommendations for senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of progressive project management experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior management capacity
• Experience managing complex, multi-million dollar projects with cross-functional teams
• Strong risk management, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Demonstrated leadership in building and motivating high-performing teams
• Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification; experience across multiple industries or international environments; change management expertise
