Learning and Development Specialist

About the role

AstraZeneca is establishing its first biologics manufacturing campus in Singapore and seeks a Learning and Development Specialist to build and sustain a robust training ecosystem. You will partner with functional leaders, HR, SHE, and Quality teams to ensure mandatory training compliance and drive continuous learning across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a training framework to achieve 100% mandatory training completion within 30 days of assignment and close ≥90% of CAPAs by due date through Q4 2026.
• Maintain the site learning cycle, identify learning needs, set goals, and roll out technical, compliance, and capability programs.
• Serve as the Cornerstone LMS Subject Matter Expert, overseeing daily operations, maintenance, analytics, and administration of the eLMS.
• Assess and enhance GMP‑oriented training programs, collaborate with SMEs to develop curricula, and define performance standards.
• Participate in internal audits, inspection readiness, change control, and deviation investigations related to training.
• Support corporate training initiatives and lead site‑level process improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in learning and development within regulated environments.
• Strong collaboration skills with functional leaders, HR, SHE, and Quality.
• Commitment to AstraZeneca Code of Ethics and SHE standards.
• Ability to analyze training data and drive continuous improvement.
