Leasing Executive

About the role

A dynamic leasing team is looking for a Leasing Executive to shape the retail and commercial tenant mix across an established real estate portfolio. You will own the full leasing cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation, deal closure and ongoing tenant relationship management, working with marketing, finance and operations colleagues to secure strong occupancy and rental performance.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute leasing strategies to achieve the desired trade mix across the assigned portfolio.
• Generate leads, identify target market segments and manage the sales cycle from first contact to signed agreements.
• Liaise with real estate agents and industry contacts to build a pipeline of prospective tenants.
• Conduct unit viewings and deliver sales presentations to potential tenants.
• Negotiate and finalise lease terms for new tenancies and renewals.
• Coordinate with legal, finance and operations to ensure accurate lease documentation and administration.
• Monitor rental income, occupancy rates and portfolio performance, and prepare annual budgets, monthly financial reports and management updates.
• Stay up to date with retail trends, market conditions and competitor activity.
• Support marketing events and initiatives, and build relationships with existing tenants to encourage renewals and referrals.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Real Estate Management or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in leasing, real estate sales or a closely related marketing role; exposure to retail or F&B preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to negotiate and present confidently.
• Established network of contacts in the F&B and retail industry is a strong advantage.
• Creative, resourceful and systematic, able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced team, with strong organisation for lease documentation and financial reporting.
