Lecturer - Artificial Intelligence (2-Year Contract)

About the role

ITE College Central is hiring a Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence on a 2-year contract. Beyond teaching, the role involves keeping current with industry developments through projects and regular industry attachments, and supporting part-time continuing training courses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the curriculum in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics and Intelligent Automation
• Carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant and maintain links with industry and schools
• Take part in regular industry attachments to update professional skills and practice
• Support part-time courses under the Continuing Training Department, including intake activities, correspondence on course and funding matters, handling of student information, and compiling and analysing intake data

Required profile

• Relevant training in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Good knowledge and experience of Machine Learning algorithms, Deep Neural Networks and Reinforcement Learning
• Experience and interest in course administration and outreach publicity
• Independent worker with strong analytical and communication skills, able to work in teams, multitask and meet tight deadlines

Required skills

• Proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheet software
• Familiarity with graphics software, e-learning technology and payroll systems is an advantage
