Lecturer - Chemical Process Technology

About the role

ITE College East is recruiting a Lecturer in Chemical Process Technology. Beyond teaching and facilitating learning, the Lecturer helps recognise and nurture students' potential and their lifelong learning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate learning in Chemical Process Technology.
• Carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant in the profession and keep strong links with industry and schools.
• Take part in regular industry attachments or experience to update skills, knowledge and practice.

Required profile

• Training in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology, Process Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of working experience in process plants, preferably in the petroleum, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical or process instrumentation industry.

Required skills

• Good hands-on knowledge of plant operations.
• Process instrumentation and control.
• Plant reliability and maintenance.
• Safety and environmental engineering.

Candidates with good and relevant experience may be considered for Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development opportunities into leadership roles in the Colleges or Headquarters.
