Lecturer – Electrical & Electronic Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Lecturer for the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The role involves delivering undergraduate and professional courses, developing curriculum, and engaging in applied research and consultancy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions for diploma and higher‑level students.
• Create teaching materials, assessments and mentor students throughout their studies.
• Design, update and maintain curriculum modules in cybersecurity, networking or microelectronics.
• Lead or contribute to consultancy projects and applied research with internal and external partners.
• Apply innovative pedagogy to enhance learning outcomes.
• Participate in administrative duties related to school strategy and professional adult education (PACE) classes.

Required profile

• Strong passion for education and student mentorship.
• Self‑driven, independent yet able to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
• Minimum three years of relevant industry experience in the specified technical area.
