Lecturer, Human Resource Management with Psychology

About the role

The School of Business is recruiting a Lecturer for its Diploma in Human Resources with Psychology (DHRMP). You will join the academic team and help shape the next generation of HR and career counselling professionals through applied learning and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate learning for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) learners through seminars, workshops, coaching and experiential activities.
• Design, review and deliver industry-relevant curriculum covering full HR functions, including HR analytics and HR technology (AI), strategic and operational HR, industrial and organisational psychology, positive psychology, psychometric assessment and socio-emotional counselling.
• Lead and supervise student-industry collaboration projects that apply real-world HR practices to workplace challenges.
• Partner with industry stakeholders on consultancy, applied research and capability development projects.
• Build and maintain industry networks to create opportunities for students, including mentorships, internships and award sponsorships.
• Mentor students in their academic, professional and personal development.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Career Counselling, Organisational Development or related fields.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in HR, career counselling, psychology, organisational development or related fields.
• Professional accreditation or membership with recognised bodies (e.g. NCDA, IHRP) is advantageous but not required.
• Strong industry networks and the ability to engage organisations on applied projects and talent development.
