About the role

As a Lecturer in IT Systems & Networks you will deliver high‑quality teaching and support students in developing lifelong learning skills. The role blends academic responsibilities with industry engagement, ensuring curricula stay current with technological advances.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures, labs and assessments in networking, server administration, cybersecurity and related topics.
• Lead industry or consultancy projects that enhance your professional relevance and provide real‑world case studies for students.
• Maintain strong links with industry partners and schools, facilitating student placements and collaborative research.
• Participate in regular industry attachments to update personal skills, knowledge and professional practices.
• Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation activities and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or IT security.
• Academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students and support their career development.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and industry collaboration.
