Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (CET and Skills Future)

About the role

The School of Infocomm is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated person who can work well in a team to help keep up with its CET plans and future goals. The role combines business development for corporate training (CET) and Skills Future programmes with teaching ICT-related modules.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends and data to propose training courses and run marketing campaigns that attract prospective applicants.
• Engage with companies, tailor CET programmes to their workforce upskilling needs and propose customisation.
• Drive marketing through physical events and social media, and strengthen the online presence of CET offerings for individual learners and corporate accounts.
• Identify and approach potential corporate clients, present CET programmes as solutions for corporate training and development needs, and build strategic partnerships.
• Develop and run business development strategies to grow revenue through corporate training partnerships and expand the CET portfolio across industries.
• Maintain client relationships, gather feedback and improve programme offerings.
• Lead proposal development and negotiate contracts with corporate clients.
• Support full-time and part-time course offerings in ICT modules: deliver modules, run related activities including student assessments and assignments, and meet learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in IT / Computer Science with at least 1 year of industry experience.
• Business development or pre-sales consulting experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least two of: programming (Python and/or Java), mobile and web app development and software testing, containerization and cloud deployment, IT audit and compliance and personal data protection, IT project or product management, penetration testing or digital forensics, and LLM frameworks such as TensorFlow/PyTorch, DeepSpeed/Megatron-LM.
