Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Fintech) - School of IT

About the role

Nanyang Polytechnic's School of IT is looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Fintech. You will act as the subject matter expert in Fintech and help learners develop academically, professionally and personally so they are ready for work and life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop courses, including curriculum design, course delivery and project supervision
• Spearhead and identify new opportunities, initiatives and collaborations with industry
• Plan, lead, manage and undertake project development with industry partners

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related domain
• Qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Fintech or financial services industry experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience in fintech projects such as blockchain, AI and machine learning is a plus

Required skills

• Programming in Python and Java/C#
• Database hands-on and deployment experience (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL) including SQL scripting and modeling
• Knowledge of blockchain platforms such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Hedera
