Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (IDD & AI)

About the role

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is recruiting a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to teach Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications for the built environment. The role is based at the BCA-Braddell Campus and involves designing and delivering training programmes mapped to recognised skills and competencies frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Curate training programmes in IDD and emerging technologies, including AI applications for the built environment, mapped to recognised skills and competencies frameworks.
• Design curriculum and assessment methods, course materials, and coordinate course delivery across diverse learning formats.
• Take part in curriculum review processes so programmes stay current with best practice and new technology.
• Establish and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions, industry associations and subject matter experts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a built environment-related discipline.
• At least 3 years of work experience in the built environment, with demonstrated competency in adopting IDD.
• Demonstrated experience with AI and emerging technologies, including hands-on use of AI platforms, data science tools, automation systems or digital innovation projects, and the ability to turn this into CET curricula.
• Advanced Certification in Learning and Performance or an equivalent recognised certification.
• Independent and proactive, with strong self-management and initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, able to work in teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in IDD methodologies, including BIM workflows, digital collaboration platforms and data-driven design processes.
• Experience applying AI and digital tools to built environment education.
