Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Pharmaceutical Science)

About the role

Nanyang Polytechnic's School of Applied Science is recruiting a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science. You will plan, develop and teach specialised learning units for Pre-Employment Training (PET) or Continuing Education and Training (CET) learners. The position is listed as hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Curriculum development and delivery, project supervision, and assessment setting and marking for PET or CET learners
• Coaching and mentoring students and taking part in student development activities beyond the classroom
• Collaborating with industry to improve students' learning
• Participating in committees and contributing to administrative and management tasks

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Nursing or a related degree
• At least 3 years of industry experience in clinical trials operations and coordination, including clinical patient care skills, research ethics, good clinical practice, and clinical trial/project management
• Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board is an added advantage
• Passion for training, mentoring and motivating youth and adult learners
• People-oriented, with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

• Familiarity with data analytics and AI tools is an added advantage
