Lecturer / Senior Lecturer – Quantitative Finance (Term‑Track)

About the role

Singapore Management University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Business is seeking full‑time, term‑track faculty to teach in its Quantitative Finance group. The appointment is teaching‑only and starts on 1 January 2027, with a load of eight courses per academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lectures, tutorials and assessments for undergraduate and postgraduate quantitative finance courses.
• Develop and update course materials, case studies and practical exercises.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning and academic events.
• Maintain a record of teaching performance through evaluations and feedback.

Required profile

• Earned PhD (or equivalent) in quantitative finance, mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, economics, information systems or a related cross‑disciplinary field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level.
• Relevant professional experience in the finance industry.
• Ability to start the appointment on 1 January 2027.
