Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Teaching & Learning) - School of IT

About the role

Nanyang Polytechnic's School of IT is looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Teaching & Learning. You will act as the subject matter expert in Teaching & Learning and help learners develop academically, professionally and personally so they are ready for work and life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop courses, teaching materials and assessment strategies, and deliver curriculum and supervise projects.
• Identify and lead new opportunities, initiatives and industry collaborations aligned with current trends.
• Take part in professional development such as T&L, industrial research and development projects, and publishing or presenting papers.
• Work with young people, nurture them and help shape their character.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related domain.
• Degree in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java/C#.
• Experience in Agile application development environments with industry exposure.
