Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Veterinary Technology)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to lead Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes in veterinary‑related disciplines. You will design, develop and deliver both full qualifications and short courses, supporting learners ranging from youths to adult professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, review and deliver CET programmes in animal care, veterinary nursing, animal behaviour and training.
• Create training materials such as lesson plans, slide decks, assessments and practical guides.
• Identify emerging industry trends and develop new courses to meet market needs.
• Apply learner‑centric teaching methods, including blended, experiential and e‑learning approaches.
• Produce micro‑learning e‑learning modules and monitor course satisfaction and performance.
• Implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes and participant experience.
• Coordinate pre‑semester planning, timetabling, resource allocation and course setup.
• Support promotional activities for courses.

Required profile

• Qualification in veterinary technology or veterinary nursing (or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital.
• Familiarity with “Day One Competences” for Veterinary Nurses.
• Passion for talent development and a genuine interest in sharing knowledge.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to teach evening/night classes.
