Legal Counsel – Family Office (Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our family office in Singapore. The role offers broad exposure to investment transactions, corporate governance, trusts, foundations and dispute resolution within a dynamic, confidential environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for equity investments, including structuring, due diligence, drafting, negotiation and exit arrangements.
• Draft, review and consolidate contracts, agreements and other legal documents related to investments, operations and governance.
• Assist with the setup and administration of family trusts and foundations, ensuring ongoing compliance through periodic reviews.
• Handle incorporation, governance and statutory filings of entities in coordination with corporate secretarial providers.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and support dispute resolution matters, including litigation and arbitration, evidence collection and case preparation.
• Perform additional legal and compliance tasks as assigned, maintaining strict confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law; Singapore Bar qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in investment, corporate law, private wealth management or family office environments.
• Litigation experience and strong ability to assess legal risk.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
