Legal Counsel – M&A / Investments

About the role

This position focuses on corporate transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and investment‑driven projects. You will join a key team that evaluates investment opportunities across Asia, Europe and the Americas and work closely with investment teams to shape business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support M&A, JV and investment‑led transactions.
• Provide commercial guidance and ad‑hoc legal advice.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Structure deals and coordinate with overseas stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business and investment teams to develop and implement strategies.

Required profile

• 5–10 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Qualified lawyer educated at a tier‑1 university with overseas experience.
• Background focused on M&A or investments – essential.
• MBA, Masters or equivalent business‑related qualification – preferred.
• Ability to work in a small‑to‑mid‑size growing team in Singapore while engaging with global stakeholders.

• Strong awareness of regulatory and compliance matters.
