Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – H225M

About the role

Airbus Helicopters seeks a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to provide technical assistance for its H225M helicopter fleet worldwide. The engineer will work on‑site at the customer’s facility for at least nine months, delivering both mechanical (B1.3) and avionic (B2) support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with AMM, RDAS, SB and other OEM documentation.
• Rectify reported defects and ensure zero‑defect post‑inspection.
• Provide local field‑service support and on‑the‑job training for customer personnel.
• Answer technical queries, give feedback on maintenance planning and assist with work orders.
• Support customers in using technical publications and ensure compliance with quality regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience on Airbus Helicopters products.
• EASA Part 66 licence with Airbus Helicopters type rating.
• Current Human Factor, Part 145 and Foreign Object Debris training.
• Excellent communication, customer‑care mindset and willingness to work outside regular hours.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and organizational awareness.
• Fluent English; additional local language a plus.
