Lifting Engineer – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Lifting Engineer to join our construction team in Singapore. The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising complex lifting operations to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed lifting plans, including rigging calculations and lift sequences for complex or tandem lifts.
• Assess environmental conditions such as ground bearing capacity, wind speed limits and proximity to overhead power lines.
• Select appropriate crane models, boom configurations and certified lifting gear (slings, shackles, spreader beams) based on load characteristics.
• Coordinate the lifting team, providing clear instructions to the Lifting Supervisor, Signalman and Crane Operator.
• Enforce safety boundaries by establishing exclusion zones and monitoring compliance during lifts.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering or construction background with experience in heavy‑lift projects.
• Strong understanding of rigging principles, load dynamics and site safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
