Lighting Designer

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a Lighting Designer to join its Infrastructure business in Singapore. You will work with a team of specialists to create innovative lighting solutions for complex infrastructure projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs and produce detailed lighting layouts and mark‑ups.
• Perform lighting calculations and ensure energy code compliance.
• Prepare reports, presentation materials, renderings and graphic packages.
• Create fixture schedules, specifications and hand sketches.
• Estimate project costs and provide recommendations.
• Review mock‑ups and contribute to work‑winning and market development activities.
• Deliver solutions that meet Aurecon standards and relevant codes.
• Manage lighting design projects, nurture client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Provide client consultation drawing on deep technical expertise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in lighting design.
• Experience in project bidding, work‑winning and client engagement is preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate with clients and architects to deliver high‑quality lighting solutions.
• Strong knowledge of local and international codes and standards.
• Deep understanding of lighting systems, controls and energy efficiency.
• Passion for continuous learning and re‑imagining engineering.
