About the role
The Lobby Host is the face of the Raffles Hotel Singapore lobby, responsible for greeting guests and visitors with warmth, poise and professionalism. This role ensures a seamless arrival experience, supports security and access control, and acts as a central liaison between guests and hotel departments.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge all residents, guests and visitors upon arrival, providing genuine warmth and attentiveness.
- Coordinate with Concierge, Butlers, F&B and Security to ensure guests are promptly attended to and escorted to their destinations.
- Maintain a calm, refined atmosphere in the lobby and support the F&B team during peak hours.
- Identify and discreetly deter unauthorized visitors, working closely with Security to manage access and crowd control.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guest requests, communicating them accurately to relevant departments.
- Assist the Guest Relations Manager with lobby operational duties and special events.
- Uphold Raffles brand standards, Accor values and workplace safety policies.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a front‑office or guest‑facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail.
