Logistics & Freight Management Manager

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Logistics & Freight Management Manager to lead daily operations at its Singapore Replenishment Centre. You will ensure efficient, accurate, and safe warehouse processes while supporting the company’s mission to improve eye care worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct daily warehouse activities including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, labeling and shipping.
• Manage inventory using WMS and SAP, conduct cycle counts and maintain FIFO/LIFO rotation.
• Recruit, train, schedule, motivate and evaluate warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct training, inspections and risk assessments.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and automated ARM/DSL repacking lines.
• Develop cost‑saving initiatives and continuously improve processes, layouts and workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution centre operations.
• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce health, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with inventory management systems, preferably WMS and SAP.
• Track record of implementing cost‑efficiency and process‑improvement projects.
