Logistics Project Manager

About the role

The Logistics Project Manager will plan, coordinate and oversee all logistics activities for construction and infrastructure projects. Acting as the main liaison between logistics functions and project stakeholders, you will ensure that materials, equipment and resources are delivered on time, within budget and in line with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive logistics plans aligned with construction schedules, including movement of heavy equipment, bulk materials and project cargo.
• Coordinate transportation, warehousing and last‑mile delivery, integrating logistics timelines into the overall project master schedule (Gantt chart/MS Project).
• Source, evaluate and manage logistics subcontractors, freight forwarders and transport providers; negotiate contracts and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Prepare and control the logistics budget, track spend, report variances and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Serve as the single point of contact for logistics matters, liaising with project managers, procurement, engineers and client representatives.
• Oversee import/export documentation, customs clearance and trade compliance, ensuring adherence to Singapore Customs, MOM and related regulations.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental standards at logistics hubs, warehouses and site delivery points.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics management within a construction company environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑vendor logistics operations and complex project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of customs, trade compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and performance reporting.
