Logistics Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to support our warehouse operations at SAESLA. The role involves handling incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining a tidy storage environment to support our engine overhaul and component repair business.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect for transportation damages and record findings.
• Unbox new parts and verify that all required documents accompany the physical items.
• Assist the store inspector with receive‑in checks and perform SAP Good Receipt transactions.
• Put away parts into designated storage locations and maintain housekeeping of the receiving and bonded store areas.
• Support monthly finance stock‑take activities when assigned.
• Conduct daily Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks and update proactive reports.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar process environment.
• Valid forklift licence.

Required skills

• SAP (Good Receipt transaction handling).
• Forklift operation.
