M&A Operations Associate / Senior Associate – Deals Advisory

About the role

PwC's Deals Advisory practice, which covers mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets, is looking for an Experienced Associate to join its Merger & Acquisition Operations (DDV) team in Singapore. The team supports clients through all operational aspects of a transaction, before and after completion, including pre-deal and confirmatory due diligence, large-scale enterprise-wide integrations and complex divestitures and separations.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage several clients and report to managers and above
• Build direct working relationships with clients, private equity investors and corporate C-suite executives
• Take part in business development to identify and research opportunities with new and existing clients
• Carry out pre-deal due diligence, value creation leverage assessment and post-deal take-over control
• Support carve-outs, post-merger integration, finance and operations process improvement, financial and business due diligence and business plan reviews

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above from a reputable university
• 1-3 years of experience in M&A or divestitures, including due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, synergy and cost savings analysis, and post-deal transformation
• Strong understanding of operating models, products and services; business or data migration experience is a plus
• Able to assess business performance and outline improvements from limited information, and to draw key messages from large amounts of information
• Project management, stakeholder management and strong analytical skills, with good verbal and written communication
