Machine Maintenance Technician – Production Equipment

About the role

The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for sustaining line equipment to support production output, minimise scrap and ensure product quality. The role focuses on maintaining high equipment availability, optimizing performance, and mentoring junior technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Lead equipment set‑up, buy‑off, type conversion, fine‑tuning and optimisation.
• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and calibrate tools according to schedule.
• Analyse equipment data to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous‑improvement projects.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S, and cleanroom protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical certificate.
• At least 3 years of relevant technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Strong leadership and multi‑tasking abilities.
