Maintenance Service Technician – Data Center (Singapore)

About the role

Join AWS Infrastructure Services as a Maintenance Service Technician supporting a state‑of‑the‑art data center in Singapore. You will work alongside a world‑class technical team to ensure continuous operation of critical mechanical and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment such as chillers, air handling units (AHU/CRAHU), fan coil units, ventilation fans, split air conditioners, pumps, leak detection systems, and roller shutters.
• Maintain electrical assets including power distribution boards, UPS batteries, and generators.
• Develop and maintain site‑specific documentation: maintenance checklists, Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Risk Assessments (RA).
• Prepare and submit service reports for both scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of hand tools, uphold housekeeping standards, and comply with safety regulations, company procedures, and local legislation.
• Coordinate with vendors and perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems in a data‑center or similar high‑availability environment.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and follow established safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining operational reliability.

Required skills

• Mechanical maintenance of chillers, AHU/CRAHU, FCU, ventilation fans, split AC units, pumps, leak detection systems, roller shutters.
• Electrical maintenance of power distribution boards, UPS batteries, generators.
• Creation of maintenance checklists, EOP, SOP, and risk assessments.
• Use of hand tools and adherence to safety and housekeeping protocols.
