Maintenance Technician I

About the role

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support the upkeep of plant machinery and facility equipment at its Singapore site. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant machinery and facilities equipment.
• Isolate faults and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical problems.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to manage critical spare parts.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and implement modifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and update daily work reports in the CMMS system.
• Support health & safety, quality, CORE activities, and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC/NITEC/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and simple spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of PLCs and automation; an electrical license is advantageous.
• Ability to read simple electrical/mechanical diagrams.
• Team player with high initiative, energy and willingness to work rotating shifts.
