Management Associate – Commercial Graduate Program

About the role

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) offers a 2‑year Management Associate program designed to develop future leaders in the commercial side of agribusiness. Participants rotate across key business units, receive structured learning and mentorship, and gain hands‑on experience in sales, marketing, risk, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through functions such as sales & marketing, risk management, business development, operations, freight, analytics and trade control.
• Support the sales process, production planning, credit assessments, market research, and end‑to‑end trade operations.
• Prepare and present reports, assist with tanker chartering, maintain global vegetable‑oil supply‑demand data, and generate daily P/L reports.
• Participate in strategic planning, execution of game plans, and project work focused on sustainability, innovation, HR, operational excellence and automation.
• Engage in mentoring sessions with senior leaders.

Required profile

• 2nd Class (Upper) Honours degree in business, economics, logistics, supply chain, engineering or related fields.
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑player attitude, driven and ambitious, with a passion for agribusiness and sustainability.
• Willingness to relocate and travel regionally.
