Manager, Community Advancement

About the role

The Manager, Community Advancement will report to the Head of Community Advancement and play a pivotal role in positioning Singapore Cancer Society as a preferred partner for organisations seeking social impact aligned with business outcomes. This role goes beyond traditional fundraising, focusing on partnership development, strategic collaborations, and new funding sources.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and secure high‑value partnerships with corporates, foundations, family offices, high‑net‑worth individuals and community networks.
• Build and manage a portfolio of partners, ensuring strong relationship ownership, retention and long‑term value creation.
• Develop and present partnership proposals that articulate clear commercial and impact benefits, including brand alignment, ESG outcomes and co‑created programmes.
• Design sustainable funding models beyond donations, such as sponsorships, cause‑related campaigns and ecosystem partnerships.
• Lead negotiations, structure partnership agreements and collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, monitor performance against revenue and conversion targets, and support reporting and forecasting.

Required profile

• A degree in Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales or commercial roles.
• Proven track record of securing funding, developing partnerships or stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in the non‑profit or fundraising sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
