Manager, Consulting Finance Strategy & Operations

About the role

PwC's Consulting practice advises leading organisations on complex business challenges, from strategy to execution. The Financial Services Strategy & Operations team helps banks, asset managers, insurers and others design and run strategies to grow, modernise and prepare for the future, covering growth, productivity, ways of working and digital transformation. As a Manager, you will lead on-the-ground delivery of engagements while helping to build the broader Financial Services Strategy & Operations practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client interactions and delivery of work alongside leaders and junior teammates
• Own client delivery: identify client needs, define approaches, set work plans and manage work
• Help activate the wider PwC network to leverage its capabilities
• Act as a role model for junior team members, developing their core competencies and leadership potential
• Help build and sharpen client offerings and contribute to thought leadership, including external publications and internal innovation
• Use business acumen and financial services experience to anticipate client problems and show how PwC can help

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
• At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in consulting or equivalent strategy, transformation, digitisation or operations roles
• Demonstrated delivery leadership, people management and team outcome delivery
• Financial services experience (banking, insurance, asset and wealth management, fintech) and solid functional knowledge of business areas such as sales, marketing, operations and IT
• Track record of engaging at senior executive level
