Manager – High-Level Control (HLC) Platform

About the role

A leading Singapore organisation is seeking a senior manager to ensure the performance, reliability and security of its mission‑critical High‑Level Control (HLC) platform that drives automated material handling operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the vendor partner for the HLC platform, guaranteeing high availability, optimal performance and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Analyse operational data, identify trends, mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead technology modernization projects, manage software and hardware lifecycle planning and support system upgrades through project delivery and Site Acceptance Testing.
• Coordinate incident investigations, resolve complex network and software issues, and implement business continuity measures during disruptions.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 27001, Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) requirements and relevant Singapore cybersecurity regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing enterprise‑scale IT network environments.
• Experience with operational technology (OT) or HLC systems in logistics, manufacturing, aviation or similar automated settings is a plus.
• Professional networking certification such as CCNP is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Proficiency with network monitoring platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with cybersecurity technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with data analytics or visualization tools.
