Manager / Senior Assistant Manager (Compensation)

About the role

NHG is looking for a Manager or Senior Assistant Manager (Compensation) to join its team and help shape and support the institution's strategic objectives. The role focuses on attracting, retaining and motivating a diverse workforce through compensation strategies and practices.

Key responsibilities

• Administer ongoing compensation programmes, including specialised payouts, bonuses, incentives, allowances and billing cycles, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Support or lead the design and implementation of compensation programmes, processes and projects
• Take part in compensation survey submissions, benchmark against internal data and analyse survey results
• Conduct or support audits to ensure compensation procedures follow the Cluster HR and Hospital's policies
• Work with HR Business Partners on compensation-related decisions such as business problems, job offers and promotions
• Improve workflows using Excel or automation tools such as VBA, RPA and Power Query to build scalable, efficient systems

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a compensation role; candidates with both consulting and in-house experience are favoured
• Strong analytical skills and comfort managing large datasets
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Accountability and attention to accuracy when handling sensitive data

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite, with strong Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, VBA)
• Data analysis and interpretation
