Manager / Senior Manager / Assistant Director, NUH Global (Education, Consultancy & Alliance)

About the role

This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of NUH's global-facing education, consultancy, partnerships and mission portfolios (Global Academy, Global Consultancy, Strategic Alliances and Global Mission). It aims to strengthen NUH's position as a regional academic healthcare hub and trusted global partner, while ensuring disciplined governance, financial sustainability and good reputation across all global engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction and multi-year roadmap for the Global Academy, Consultancy, Alliances and Mission portfolios, and ensure coherence across education, advisory, partnership and mission activities.
• Oversee healthcare management education, leadership development and training programmes for international partners, and expand fellowships, exchanges and leadership platforms.
• Lead the Global Consultancy strategy, including market positioning, service portfolio and quality assurance, and oversee delivery of engagements with overseas hospitals, health systems and ministries with strong governance over contracting, fees, risk and compliance.
• Develop and steward alliances with international hospitals, universities, health authorities and multilateral partners, and oversee alliance frameworks and collaborative platforms.
• Provide leadership over Global Mission initiatives such as community health missions, health system strengthening and capability transfer, balancing humanitarian objectives with sustainability and staff welfare.
• Ensure compliance with NUH/NUHS governance frameworks, including agreement review, fee management, conflict of interest and overseas travel policies, and act as a steward of NUH's global reputation.
• Oversee budgeting, revenue generation, cost control and financial sustainability, and support resourcing, team capability and staff welfare.
• Represent NUH at high level with international partners, government agencies and multilateral organisations, and support the CEO and senior leadership in shaping NUH's global narrative.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in healthcare, academic medicine, health systems or international programmes.
• Proven track record in international partnerships, education, consultancy or system-wide initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to operationalise complex, multi-country initiatives.
• High governance acumen, especially in risk, compliance and reputational management.
• Desirable: experience with overseas hospitals, ministries of health or multilateral partners, and familiarity with healthcare education, leadership development or management consultancy models.
